Women Opening Doors for Girls
This career-focused mentoring program pairs women in the community with high school girls in order to expose the girls to a wide range of future career possibilities. As girls connect with these female professionals in the healthcare industry, human services, science and engineering, computer technology, business management and ownership, and more, the number one priority is to encourage girls and women to earn a four-year college degree. Mentors are asked to make a one year commitment, meet their mentees every other week, and speak with them weekly. We also provide monthly meetings for mentors and mentees, as well as opportunities for outings and community service projects.
